Shawn Schutt
Shawn has a Master's degree in Public Health and has worked in the field of domestic and sexual violence prevention for over 7 years. He has presented to middle and high schoolers, college students, health care professionals, bar staff, politicians, and businesses on topics ranging from consent, healthy relationships, human trafficking, warning signs of violence, and policy implications. He uses his desire to create equitable, inclusive, safe communities, to dictate his presentations and trainings, centering community needs and beliefs along with social justice to build change.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with friends, playing video and board games, watching anime and horror movies, and meeting new people.
Amanda Courier
Amanda works in Community Outreach and Prevention Education and has been in the world of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault prevention for 5 years. She has given educational presentations to groups that range from Pre-K to those in Residential M.D. programs. Amanda is also a nationally recognized advocate for victims of crime and spends time on a crisis intervention hotline. She can be spotted staffing awareness tables at community events in her hometown, and you can count on her to speak up when she sees injustice. Her passion for equity, inclusion, diversity, and justice is what drives her to be the best advocate and educator she can be.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, acting and spending quality time with friends, family, and furbabies.
